MoriPrax is not a supply company that discovered Africa. It is a manufacturing business being built on the continent, for labs whose work has always been rationed by somebody else's supply chain.
Why we started
A four-month wait is not a logistics line item
It is a cohort that graduates late
It is also an outbreak sequenced too late, and a crop pathogen found after harvest. None of that is a science problem. It is a shipping problem that science pays for.
So we make the kits in Africa. Same chemistry, built on the same continent as the labs that use it, at a price a department can actually approve.
The longer goal is simple: Africa making its own life-science tools instead of importing them.

Where we are
Early, and saying so
The chemistry works and the stability data is real. We are still standing up production, so we are not shipping at volume and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
What we want now is a handful of labs willing to run the kits properly and tell us where they fall short.
What we need
First labs, not first customers
The evaluation kit is free. In return we want the honest version: what the yield looked like next to your usual mix, and what broke.
